2011 Los Angeles Marathon 5K

So this past weekend was the 26th annual Los Angeles Marathon. A couple of friends and myself made the committment of signing up for this 26.2 mile adventure from Dodger Stadium to Santa Monica Pier. We also signed up for the 5k around the dodger stadium the day before. We all agreed we would just walk this only becuase the next day would be crazy. Here are some pictures from the event:

This was the free items given after the 5K run/walk. They had water.dole fruit cups.protein drinks.fruits.

The kids had a run before we started. It was crazy to see so many kids running.

So after the actual 5K we headed over to the expo to get our Marathon Gear. This Honda Van was pretty cool. It had names of the people who registered for the LA Marathon.

 Joey wanted to sit down and there was this open booth. He's a pro at running the Chronicles booth so decided to try and run a Yoga Booth. Someone even came by and asked him questions! LOL.

 After a long day we decided to head back. Plus everyones bags were extremely heavy from all the free stuff we got. Thank you LA Marathon Expo for giving so much free items!!!
